Hey Jimmy, I just finished reading "Walk To Beautiful". It hurts my heart to know about your childhood. I know from experience that God can make good come from evil. Keep up the good work.
Love your songs! Love your voice! God bless you, Jimmy!
Hello Jimmy, Read your book, listened to a couple of your songs😀 I work at a high school in CA., teaching toddlers of teens working to earn high school diplomas. Many are in foster care. Thank you for your support and Inspiration! Np
After recently hearing your story on the radio, I got your book & currently reading "Walk To Beautiful" ❤️
I also gave a copy to my friend.
We are both so touched and tormented by your story.
It is truly heart wrenching to know that children are so terribly mistreated.
I am currently a Foster parent to Drug exposed infants and toddlers. It is an amazing experience and incredible ministry. My friend is involved in our homeless community, ministering to the many people who have been lost along the way. Your book, though so painful to read, is very insightful and inspiring for both of us.
We praise God for His hand in your life.
May the LORD continue to Bless you and anoint you to glorify Himself through your life.
Blessings to you,
Oh my goodness what a beautiful person you are! I have ordered your book and from all the posts I have read about it I am sure to weep. I was scrolling through songs on Daryls House on YouTube and heard you sing Sara Smile and what an amazing voice you have Mr Jimmmy Wayne. You caught my eye with you look so much like a boy I dated in high school and he was the love of my life and my family had to move away to another state for my fathers work. We lost touch but I think of him often and your song Sara smile reminded me of happy times so thank you Jimmy Wayne for all you do for all the lonely children in the world. I wish I could adopt them all. I was blessed with one child now 26 but I love all GODS children. I also love all the clips of you and Jackie and your adventures. You two seem to be beautiful people with beautiful souls.
Jimmy,I carried a copy of "Walk to Beautiful" to our public library, today.Don't know why I had not thought of this, before.
So many people have told me how much they enjoyed your concert,in Fayetteville. As usual,I thought you were super duper!
Jackie is a sweetheart!
What is the big surprise?????God bless!
Hello Jimmy...I saw you on Fox News this morning and had to stop and listen to your story of being a product of the foster care system. I myself am a product of the California foster care system. At the age of 14 and following my parents very bitter divorce and violent home environments, I was removed in protective custody and labeled an endangered child. I was lucky enough to be placed with wonderful foster parents who honestly cared about me. I would not be who I am today if it was not for them. But back in 1977 being a kid in foster care did carry the assumed label of being a problem child. It was difficult. Then, two weeks before HS graduation I ran away because I was worried that they would make me to leave once I turned 18 and/or finished HS. I felt then that it was better to leave on my own terms than to be ask to leave what I loved. So, I do understand your story and I am right there with you in your support for the kids in the foster care systems. I would like to help support these kids. How can I do it?
I remember hearing your song :"I love you this much" for the first time and was drawn to who you were because I knew by the power of your lyrics you had know suffering. God brings about good through our suffering and boy have you lived the gospel..As a famous singer and song writer you could have reinvented yourself and buried all that you experience but instead you made "the mess your message" I am a Mom of young adults and I feel enormous pride in YOU and we have never met. Your compassion is real and you walk the walk. May God continue to grace your life, please use all your gifts for His glory and thank you for caring so deeply.
Thanks for turning out so great! You give me hope. Your story touched my heart, I want to help these kids. Praying God will show me how. May God bless your life!!
Just finished reading "Walk to Beautiful". Needed to keep the tissues close at hand through each mile. God bless you, and may your words and determination produce the results you have worked so hard for. We adopted our son...wish we had adopted more. Too old now (75) so thinking of visiting Barium Springs Home for Children as a "grandma".
I have 2 nephews & 1 niece adopted from foster care and understand how awful the plight is for these children.
I also absolutely LOVE your music - actually just discovered you about a year ago Do you think you will ever do a show in NC?
Jimmy, I'm already a fan of your mission and your creative works. Now, add your marketing: you've racked up 15 likes and 10 comments to your blog--without ever actually posting to it yet! Good move, coming back here from FB as your main platform. Be yourself here, and share it back over to FB, et al. You are your own brand. Own it proudly.
Jimmy, I just finished your book, Walk to Beautiful and I am so inspired by you. My husband and I took in an 18 year old girl who was kicked out of her home the first week she started community college. And, we are getting ready to Foster her 15 year old sister who is in a group home after being in a youth detention center for the past year. I have always wanted to help a child in need. I have been a CASA for the past 3 plus years but even with all of this, I want to do more. I want to help as many kids as I can. I want to advocate more, how do get more involved being an advocate? God bless you for being so strong and bringing such awareness to so many kids in need. The world is a better place with you in it.
